As I move towards becoming a full time artist my experience earlier this year of running independent workshops in Cornwall has really helped me realise that there are opportunities out there to do what you love doing, exploring new places and meeting and working with like minded people.

During my artist residency at Brisons Veor, Cornwall, in 2018 I published a daily visual blog on my facebook page www.facebook.com/PaulaDunnArtist. It was my way of keeping in touch with friends and family but I also had some really wonderful interactions with other artists and people living in and around Brisons Veor. The intention was to share progress with my paintings but also my adventures exploring the landscape and dealing with the ever changing weather.

In 2018 I was lucky enough to be awarded an artist residency at Brisons Veor in Cornwall. Brisons Veor is a residential workspace set in an inspiring and unique location away from the day-to-day distractions of their home lives.
