First exhibition of 2024

Following my successful exhibition with Studio Vault in 2022 I will be returning later this month with a new collection, just in time for when Emily moves into her larger gallery space.

To celebrate the launch of this collection I have had a limited edition of Tumultuous (pictured) printed which will be available from the start of the exhibition.

New collection

Over the last couple of months I have been working on a new collection of work for the Hope Gallery in Hebden Bridge. There was a clear brief to create some bright pieces for her gallery. 16 warm-up paintings

Lock down has given me the time to do a lot of jobs that have been hanging around the house. It has also given me the opportunity to play! Here I have taken a very large piece of Arches Huille to create 16 warm-up paintings in one go.

Developing new skills

Because of where we are at the moment a lot of things have been cancelled or put on hold for me including a painting trip to Ireland. That didn't stop me still taking the week off work and use that time to get used to being at home but more importantly to dust off the old cellar studio space and paint.
