Handmade cards

There are times however where I like to take a big sheet of Arches paper and just mess around with oil colour, dry pigments, glazes, experimenting with tools to see what textures they can make. The Sculpture Lounge

Earlier this year I received an invitation to be part of a Fringe Event as part of the Holmfirth ArtWeek. The event itself was hosted by the Sculpture Lounge which is a huge mill in Holmbridge which has been converted into artists studios.

Awakening

This was an interesting painting to create as I was tussling with the composition throughout its creation whilst also trying to experiment with techniques at the same time. Always a challenge!
