Was inspired by artist Gillian Lee Smith's (http://gillianleesmith.wordpress.com/) blog on the process of painting and decided to have a go myself. Not sure it works quite as well as Gillian's but here is my latest painting, completed this afternoon. This is one of a series of 6 paintings of the lakes which will be on show at the Maiden Bridge summer show from 18 May.
