Mobile notebook

[gallery type="square" ids="1035,1037"] I use digital cameras all the time to capture images for potential paintings but I've noticed that recently when visiting Eilean Shona that I was using my mobile phone camera as a bit of a notebook, snapping away at beautiful things that I stumble across. It helps that the phone has a pretty decent camera on it but even still I was surprised at how well these images came out after I'd played around with an instagram type app.  I love the reflections of the trees in the first image and the saturated colours so much that I'm going to have a go and paint this.
