Road to Glen Etive[/caption]

Road to Glen Etive is one of three new paintings which are winging their way to Zack at TOGS. Glen Etive is around the Glen Coe area of Scotland and is one of the locations for the Skyfall movie but it has been a favourite haunt of ours for quite a number of years.
Having spent my time focusing on paintings for the God's Own series recently and other green valleys in the Lake District it was a nice change to shift back to painting some clouds of doom, snow-capped mountains and a road leading to nowhere. Unfortunately for us our next trip to Scotland won't be until 2015 now but I still have a pile of photos from our recent trips to keep me busy until then... although saying that just looking at this painting makes me want to head up North!
