This is original oil and cold wax painting was inspired by a diversion home from Northumberland via Wensleydale . It was a typical British summer's day with ever changing weather and clouds dashing across the sky. This particular painting captures a moment where there was a cloud burst on the horizon which created a misty atmosphere and spotlights of sunlight lighting up the fields.
Oil and cold wax, with pigment on Arches oil paper, mounted, backed on archival board and framed. Frames are bespoke and are made by a local company, Artworks, who are also a member of the Fine Art Trade Guild.
