This piece was created recently whilst I was out in Ireland. I have got into using my brayer for creating really thin veils of colours but then using it for blending also. What it's doing is creating really muted greys and blues which I absolutely adore.
Similar to the Crossing as soon as I started working into making marks it started to resemble more and more like docklands. The marks I had made were more architectural and so I built on that further. It soon became apparent that it was the sail into Dublin that had inspired this painting.
