Towards the end of summer, beginning of autumn I worked on a new collection of paintings which featured big skies. Ten of these paintings are on show at the Biscuit Factory in Newcastle but Summers End and Last Light didn't quite make it to the exhibition as they were taking a lot longer to dry. Instead I have the joy of sharing my studio in Bingley with them.
Each painting is created on Arches Huillle paper using oil paints and mixed media. The paintings have been mounted on wooden boards, varnished and then framed in a simple white tray frame.
They look fabulous either on their own or as a small collection.
