FAQ

What medium are your original paintings?

I use oils and mediums such as cold wax. Cold wax changes the way oils behave and enables me to apply translucent layers of colour to create the atmosphere and depth you see in my paintings.

I’m not sure which workshop is best for me

Whether you are new to painting or a professional artist, a landscape artist or an abstract artist, then I offer a number of workshops for people of all levels of experience. Get in touch with me and we can discuss which is best for you.

What is a limited edition print?

A limited edition print is a high quality reproduction of an original artwork. They are giclee prints made at a specialist printer using archival quality inks on a 100% cotton rag acid free paper.

Each print is signed and printed on textured fine art paper and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

Payment plans

For any work over £300 you can pay in instalments. Please send me a message and we can work out an arrangement that suits you. As soon as the final payment is made, your work will be shipped to you.

I have placed my order, how soon will I receive my artwork?

This will vary depending on your location.  If you need your order in a hurry please email me and I will do my best to help.

Can I collect my artwork from your studio?

You are welcome to collect your art work from my studio in Bingley, West Yorkshire. For online purchase, please select “local collection” at the checkout and I will contact you to let you know when I will be in the studio so that we can arrange a pick-up time that is convenient.

Do you ship internationally?

I ship my paintings worldwide and artwork is securely packaged and insured against loss or damage during delivery. Delivery costs are calculated based on your delivery location and the size/weight of the artwork you have purchased.

Please be advised that customs fees may occasionally be charged upon arrival in the destination country. This is unfortunately out of my control and payment of such fees will be the responsibility of the customer.

Is Shipping included?

Yes, most artwork has an estimated shipping cost included at checkout based on the size of the work and your location.

What if my painting arrives and I don’t like it?

If the artwork is not as you expect you have 14 days on receipt of delivery to contact me by email and request a refund. Once a return has been agreed you are responsible for packing and arranging return delivery using the same service it was sent to you. Return delivery costs will be at the customer's expense.

Once the piece has been safely returned I will refund your payment within 14 day. Refunds will be for the original sales price of the artwork (minus original shipping cost).

At this point I am unable to offer returns for any items sent outside of the UK.

What if my painting arrives damaged?

All work is carefully packed and wrapped. If you receive artwork that has been damaged in transit, please contact me within 7 days and if possible keep a photograph.
