Passing Storm captures the fleeting drama of a landscape under shifting skies. Across the horizon, light breaks through gathering clouds, illuminating the land in brief, luminous moments. Layers of oils, gold leaf, and mixed media create a richly textured surface, conveying the tension and energy of a storm passing over open fields while revealing the subtle dialogue between land and sky.

Inspired by walking the land and observing the ever-changing weather, I focus on those transient moments when light and atmosphere transform the landscape. I build each piece slowly, using oils and cold wax to create depth, texture, and movement—allowing the painting to evolve as naturally as the land itself.

This unique statement piece, with its dramatic skies and atmospheric presence, creates a striking focal point, bringing energy, character, and a sense of quiet drama to any room.

Payment plans

Delivery

Due to the size of this painting it requires careful packing to protect against damage during transit  Full insurance and tracking also included.
