Plans for 2013

Although the last couple of weeks have been mainly spent on the couch full of cold it has given me the opportunity to at least plan work for the exhibitions in 2013.  I had started off thinking that I only had the first 6 months planned out for exhibitions but have been contacted very recently by a new gallery which is opening up in January in Otley, The Old Grammar School. I'm planning to visit them in the next couple of weeks with the intention of agreeing an exhibition with them at the back end of 2013.

The exhibition with the Biscuit Factory in Newcastle is still running until 8 March.

I have been invited to exhibit at the Maiden Bridge Gallery summer show again which I'm looking forward to and that will be running from 4 May - 29 September.

I've also applied to exhibit for the Saltaire Arts Trail which is running from 24 - 27 May.  If accepted this will be my seventh year exhibiting with them but have yet to decide whether to open the house up.  If we don't that certainly will be a change for us and probably the arts trail as we have been the only house to have opened up for every year of the arts trail.

So 2013 is looking like it's already booked up for exhibitions and all I need to do is actually get down in the studio and paint.... Happy New Year everyone!
